Welcome.
I’m a practising New Zealand artist and have been creative, in one way or another, all of my life. I’ve exhibited my work is Group and Solo exhibitions and sold my art throughout New Zealand and Australia.
Over the last 25 years, I’ve been motivated to produce several strands of art and design work including commissions, graphics, paintings, drawings, calendars, greeting cards, sculptures, mural work, furniture restoration, craft, life drawing and photography.
My work is often inspired by shapes, shadows and textures that I notice in everyday things. My art evolves and takes different directions as I push my ideas and experiment with different media.
In 2014 and 2015, I enjoyed living and working in Melbourne, the Art Capital of Australia, where I fully immersed myself in this creative culture. An amazing place. At present, I am working towards a group exhibition. My new work could be described as sculpture on a 2D surface, using found/recycled objects.
